Everyone's story is their own

When I meet people, there's one general answer I'd like to give to the questions I'm asked: everyone's life is different. In therapy, meaning and solutions to the difficulties you face are found from within your own life.

You know yourself best. Together we explore what does and doesn't do you good, and try to make more room for the experiences that help.

  • Solution-focused

We focus on the issues that are difficult for you, guided by goals we set together.

  • Evidence-based

The effectiveness of the approaches I use is supported by scientific research.

  • Ethical and safe

I work within a framework that protects the client, committed to ethical principles and to my therapeutic orientation.

What can we work on together?

These are the main areas I work in. If you don't see your situation here, you can still get in touch; we'll consider together whether it's a good fit.

How does the process work?

Taking the first step is often the hardest part. Knowing what comes next may make it a little easier.

  1. Send a request

Fill in the short form, call or send a WhatsApp message. You'll hear back, and we'll find a suitable time together.

  2. First session

We talk about what brings you here, your life and your expectations, and agree on a framework together.

  3. Working together

In regular sessions, we move step by step towards your goals using the approach that suits you.

  4. Reviewing progress

At regular intervals we look at what has changed and plan the process, and its ending, together.

In-person sessions take place in Bahçelievler; online sessions are held over a secure video connection.

Common questions

The questions people ask most often before starting therapy.

All questions

When should I seek therapy?

You can reach out if something has been affecting your daily life, work, relationships or sleep for a long time, if the things you've tried on your own aren't enough, or simply if you want to get to know yourself better. Therapy isn't only for moments of crisis.

What do we talk about in the first session?

In the first session we talk about what brings you here, your life so far and what you hope to get from therapy. Together we set a framework and goals. It's also a chance for you to judge whether working with me feels right for you.

How long is a session, and how often do we meet?

Individual sessions usually last 50 minutes and most often take place once a week. The frequency is agreed together according to your needs, the approach used and the stage of the process.

How many sessions does therapy take?

This varies from person to person and from issue to issue. Work focused on a specific issue may be shorter, while working with long-standing patterns may take more time. We review the process together at regular intervals.

Will what we talk about stay confidential?

Yes. What you share in sessions is protected under professional confidentiality and ethical principles. The situations in which confidentiality is legally limited (such as a serious risk to your life or someone else's) are discussed openly in the first session.

I'm here whenever you're ready to talk

Send an appointment request; you'll hear back as soon as possible and we'll plan the first session together.
