About me
A specialist clinical psychologist who combines academic training with clinical experience, working with children, teenagers, adults and couples.
Who am I?
I began my studies in Psychology (taught in English) at Bahçeşehir University on a full scholarship and graduated first in my department and second in the university. I then continued, again on a full scholarship, to the master's programme in Clinical Psychology (taught in English) at Bahçeşehir University, and graduated with my thesis “Examining the Higher-Order Factor Structure of Emotion Regulation and the Turkish Adaptation of the Emotional Style Questionnaire”, prepared with Asst. Prof. Başak Türküler Aka.
During my undergraduate studies I completed a placement with Psychiatrist Gıyasettin Ekici, and during my master's a nine-month placement at La Paix French Hospital. There I took part in patient interviews, ward rounds and workshops, and followed the treatment of inpatients.
As a specialist clinical psychologist at a private counselling centre, I held sessions with children, teenagers, adults and couples. Today I continue my work in Bahçelievler and online.
